MANATEES ARE ALL OVER THE RIVER SYSTEM AND THE GULF OF MEXICO!

 Viewing manatees is still possible, we have to hunt for them.  They may or may not be in the clear water areas we have to keep our eye on the surface looking for "footprints", snouts, flippers and tails.  Trips are at 9, 11 am, 1,3, and 5pm.  If you wish to try and find them in the springs we go at 9am only.  We will post it on this site when we are no longer seeing them for the season. While the manatees are gone if you want to swim at the springs area we can take you at all of our tour times and provide mask, snorkel and fins (no wetsuits) for a two hour trip the price is $35 per person with a 3 person minimum. Kids discounts apply after the minimum # of people is met.

Many have been sighted in the Gulf of Mexico on airboat rides! 

Due to the warm weather we cannot guarantee manatee encounters on the swim trips on the Homosassa River as of today April 6, 2012. 

River Safaris is no longer taking customers to the Crystal River for manatee swim trips.  We strongly believe in passive observation and do not feel that we can provide that type of quality trip at 9am. 

When manatees begin coming into the Homosassa River in October or November 2012 we will post it on this site.   Have a great summer!!!!

Homosassa Manatee Swim $40 per person, includes wetsuit, mask & snorkel. 2 person minimum. After minimum is met riders pay just $23 per person and kids ages 4, 5 & 6 are 1/2 price. Ages 3 and under are FREE. Our tours are all inclusive there are no hidden costs!
